Glyphosate
Did you know that everyone on this planet is being exposed to the cancer causing herbicide, glyphosate on a daily basis? That’s right. Over 300 tons of Round-Up (glyphosate) is sprayed in the US every year and it’s even in the rainwater.
A comprehensive long-term study by the Ramazzini Institute, published in Environmental Health (June 2025), found that glyphosate and glyphosate-based herbicides caused multiple types of cancer in Sprague-Dawley rats at doses considered safe by European Union regulators. These doses align with the European Union Acceptable Daily Intake. The study reported increased incidences of benign and malignant tumors in organs including the liver, thyroid, skin, ovaries, kidneys, and blood (leukemia), with 40% of leukemia deaths occurring early in life (equivalent to human ages 35–40). Notably, commercial formulations like Roundup Bioflow and RangerPro showed enhanced carcinogenic effects compared to pure glyphosate.
In a 2024 study from Arizona State University, published in the Journal of Neuroinflammation, demonstrated that glyphosate exposure in mice, even at low doses (close to the EPA’s acceptable human exposure limit), caused persistent brain inflammation, Alzheimer’s-like symptoms, anxiety-like behaviors, and premature death. The study showed glyphosate crossing the blood-brain barrier, leading to long-term neurological damage even after a six-month recovery period post-exposure.
Since everyone is exposed to this potentially dangerous chemical, how can we counteract its effects?
